This covers the auto.select website and its waitlist. We collect very little, and this page says exactly what.
Who we are
auto.select is in early development. For anything about your data, email hello@auto.select.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we keep your email address, the databases you tick, if any, and when you joined.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
When your browser sends the waitlist form, our server records the request’s IP address and browser details in its operational logs, which delete themselves after seven days. Cloudflare, which serves these pages, sees the same details when you load them.
Why we keep it
To invite you to auto.select when there’s a place, and to decide which databases to support next. We hold it because you asked us to, and you can withdraw that at any time. We won’t send you anything else, and we won’t sell or share your address.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare hosts the website and sends our email. Hetzner runs the server and database that hold the waitlist, in Finland. Cloudflare is based in the United States and may handle your details outside the UK and EU, under the safeguards data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
Until you join auto.select, ask us to remove you, or we close the waitlist, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@auto.select. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
